One option to save our face would be to start blogs under registered domains (paid) since Blogspot or Blogsome have their own problem. It will not cost us some huge amount of money and we will get the tag of “Serious Bloggers”.

If we register a domain (eg. domain-name.com) & start blogs in sub domains (eg. http://myblog.domain-name.com) then the same issue continues. My suggestion is http://www.domain-name.com/ with 10 to 15 mb space to start with. Another option would be http://www.domain-name.com/blog (in this case the domain name has to be registered with us), wherein the commuters would have the pre-conceived idea that the blog is maintained by the site owner (under whom the domain is registered). Thus the reputation of the blog and the website becomes complimentary to each other. So, in case we try to choose an existing domain name which do not belong to us, we need to mention it clearly.

And, in such a situation, we will not be able to do whatever we want (as far as 3 way or 4 way link building is concerned) with that blog; as we will be putting a site and a blog at stake. Again, the blog should be related to the site’s topic. A blog with the same format (www.domain-name/blog) normally acts like the mouthpiece of that site (organization). So the space for outgoing links becomes narrower.

Some of us may choose to put it under

The reasons are as follows:

    * Savedude is representing as the outsourced online marketing company for many sites.

    * We can have multiple blogs in sub-domains like http://myblog.savedude.com/ and anybody can use others blog for links. Thus we can provide webmasters with more options for backlinks.

    * If we create 20 blogs under it and if we are able to achieve PR of 2-3 for each of our blogs in the next update, Savedude will start getting a booster as a good outsourcing company across the web.

    * Webmasters would come to know that savedude is also giving free blogs.

That way we would be re-branding savedude.com as a website that offers free space for financial blog rather than an Online Marketing Company!

These are just some situations that we may consider while we start blogging.

In a way, we would be tricking the search engines.

Recently, I have perceived a peculiar problem with some of the eminent blogs. Some of the successful blogs are getting suspended by their providers. That is why I read the Terms and conditions of a blog provider. There are lot’s of rules and regulations but among them the main problems are (what I have understood)

1.You can copy the information but not the content.

2. Do not copy the images from the copy right sites.

3. Do not copy the videos from the copy right sites.

Copyscape.com is a great place to assure content security. You may use any plagiarism checker in order to be sure of any plagiarism happening within your blog. Another option for you is to hang a copyright notice that shows your content as ‘copyrighted‘ & brands stealing it as ‘illegal‘. But at the same time, you must remember that security of your content can only be assured through consistent monitoring of the electronic data that travels to&fro. If you let a piece of unmonitored content reside within your blog, you are definitely inviting some legal as well as competitive risks.

It is easy to create blog pages:

I would just need to go to the Manage option of my my control panel & select the Pages option over there. Under the pages option I would find another option called Create New Pages. Upon clicking this option I would get an opportunity to create a new page for my blog. The steps would be as – Manage==>Pages==>Create new page OR Write==>Write Page (just need put a page-slug to get the page included within the page-links).

What is a page-slug ?

A page slug is that part of the page-url with which you want to identify that page. In simple terms it signifies a name of that page that has a resemblance with the content in it.

But no sooner that I create a new page do I come across another problem – How do I link this new page to my home-page ?

To add links to your home page, select Presentation==>Widgets==>drag n drop the Links widget-box (Now the links of all your pages will appear under Links tag) .
You may even add links through the Blogroll. You would need to select the Blogroll option in the control panel and then put your desired link over there with a description of it.

If you see that your blog does not support such widgets for development, you may choose to link your newly created pages with your blog home page using html.

Blogosphere may be described as a network of blogs which exist together as a blog community. Thus, it represents all the creative activities & exchange of innovative ideas associated with bloggers’ world today. Technorati depicts the blogosphere expansion to have doubled once every 5 months during the last one & half year. The blogs within the blogosphere are not necessarily of a particular nature but collectively they are contributing towards the cause. Thus the blogosphere may be looked upon as a platform that exchanges vision in terms of knowledge & technical advancements, in order to throw some light upon the benefits & needs of blogging.

Blogology may be described as the ‘art of blogging’, which invites a series of interactions & commitments between the modern-day bloggers towards addressing the root causes to our core social problems & their preferred solutions. Thus, blogology is all about studying the different means of blogging, rather than studying the nature or the direction of the blogosphere. This has been proved with the help of blog content that reflects the natural personality traits of individuals who support this dynamic art.

How are the blogs connected within the blogosphere ?

The Node Graph may denote a well-knit blogger community, wherein suppose the Blue Node signifies an Insurance blog which is of a similar but much bigger class of blogs as a Finance blog (that gets depicted through the Orange Node). Thus, we can see that the blue node has a tendency to appeal or reach out to the orange node. But, we must know that there is no direct way that the blue node may link with the orange node. This is because the insurance blog is solely concentrated on insurance topics, even though insurance is a financial topic. The finance blog on the other hand analyzes financial matters generally, with insurance constituting only a part of it. Hence the insurance blog needs to utilize the blogosphere in order to develop a blogger network that helps it to connect with the finance blog through the insurance topics that suit the financial categories.
